I can't remember the name of the hole-in-the-wall Ice House dive in S. Houston / Pasadena that I visited for years, but the place was called a sand pit.
I # Ve seen El Dorado Restaurant reviewed, But the review for today is for the state only, so if you're not working, you can order a breakfast taco at the Mexican restaurant El Tapatio. You can check out their menu on their website or find it at the Legends Apartment Complex, where I live, just a few blocks from the Ice House on the east side of Kingsville.
At LaBare, I would leave the bar and sit at the tailgate, drink beer and wait for the girls to come. At Casita Jorge, where I would wait for an Everclear margarita that would work its magic on a future date.
At the Blue Ribbon Deli & Coffee Bar, which I rated in my restaurant review for the best restaurant in Loyola Beach, Texas. I saw that their deluxe pizza was delicious, the vegetables were fresh and then the salad with sliced avocados with lettuce and tomatoes came out. At El Tapatio Mexican, which I reviewed at the restaurant, their specialty is an ooey gooeY cake, but it was very good and I've seen it in many other restaurants in Houston.
